Hells Angus is a Horde guild based on the Eldre'thalas server. While the name of the guild reflects a Tauren point of view, membership is open to all Horde character races and classes, and all are welcome. Even smelly Undead characters. The goal of Hells Angus is first and foremost to have a good time and enjoy our shared roleplaying in the World of Warcraft universe. Secondary goals include developing our characters (and helping new members develop their characters), forming parties and taking on the many quests, dungeons, etc. that WoW has to offer. Eventually, we'd like the Hells Angus to grow in both skill and size to the point where we can organize and launch raids into Alliance territory. Oh, and did I mention that our primary goal is to have fun???

That said, like many other guilds out there, we find it necessary to have a few rules to help the mutual enjoyment of our gaming experience. The first and foremost of these rules is that we expect guild members to always behave in a manner which builds the reputation and esteem of the guild. For that reason, practices such as cussing, ninja looting, abusive speech/behavior, and other behavior that would reflect negatively on the guild are frowned upon. We prefer that in chat, people speak clearly and understandably. Yes, in combat, things can get tough, and we can all make mistakes like, "oh no I need hessssssssssssssssssssssssaaadddddwwww1212," can happen. Usually followed by, "Oh, drat, now I'm dead. Be back soon." However, as mentioned above, cussing is frowned on, as are '133t sp33k', '2hot4u' and other aberrations. Speaking clearly (or trying to) shows respect for your audience and helps enhance the reputation of the guild. While our guild may have a "tough" name, and we may have horde characters, we're not in this to attempt to prove our manhood, or personhood. If anybody has issues with their perceived personhood, we would suggest that they attempt to resolve them elsewhere, say (for example) by signing up for a hockey league. We are looking for mature players. If you're a mature teen, or a mature adult for that matter, we'd like to have you aboard. If you're an immature teen, or an adult that acts like one, please find another guild. There are plenty. As stated, our goal is to have fun. As members of the Hells Angus guild, we intend to help each other (and thereby help ourselves) enjoy the World of Warcraft together. Behavior which helps us achieve this goal will be encouraged. Behavior which detracts from this goal, or brings dishonor on the guild will not be tolerated.

Having read this, if you would like to be a member of the Hells Angus, whisper or send WoW mail to Theo, Pugnum, Neeley, or Clasher. We will most likely ask to have a brief interview and invite you to join us on a quest or two to evaluate your style of play and see if you'll be a good fit in our guild. If so, we will invite you to join. If not, we will politely decline. As a new guild member, you will start at the 'Chuck' rank, for an evaluation period. During this time, you will be expected to go on quests and other party based activities with the other guild members, and we'll see how things go. If, after a certain period, things go well, you'll be promoted to the Sirloin rank. If not (and I'm sure that won't happen), you'll be politely dismissed. At the Sirloin rank, you will be a full member. As a Sirloin member, you'll be expected to go on more quests, etc. with the other guild members, and also to spend some time helping new guild members get settled in, level up, etc. All members will be expected to help new members settle in and level up, as well as to share in beneficial intra-guild trading, etc. As things settle in, we will be organizing regular (or irregular) "guild nights", and other activities. We are open to suggestions to help improve our guild, for the enjoyment of all. Because that's what it's all about.
